Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD)
Airlines and Terminals
(Budapest, Hungary)
Budapest Ferihegy Airport (BUD) is the only air facility serving the capital of Hungary and it handles daily flights to a number of domestic cities as well as a large selection of European and international destinations.
The airport is also something of a hub for the budget carriers of easyJet, Ryanair and Wizz Air.
There are three terminals at the airport, with Terminal 1 being the most modern following a renovation and re-opening in September 2005. While connected to one another, terminals 2A and 2B are actually separate terminals serving different airlines.
Terminal Information
The airport's three terminals are modern and efficient facilities that handle all arrivals and departures speedily and efficiently. The terminals are well signed and easy to negotiate.
- Terminal 1 - temporarily closed as part of cost-cutting exercise, formerly serving all low-cost airlines
- Terminal 2A - mainly serves Malev Hungarian Airlines and its co-shared airline partners
